I’ve been running Cyno as my main Electro DPS since Version 6.7, and the Stellar-Conduct buff has completely changed how I approach his build. Before the update, I mostly stacked Elemental Mastery for Hyperbloom or Aggravate, but now I’m chasing a different kind of damage. Stellar-Conduct transforms Superconduct into a harder-hitting reaction, and Cyno is one of the best drivers for it in 2026. In this guide, I’ll share the exact build I use, including the best weapon, artifact set, team compositions, and free-to-play alternatives.

The Best Weapon for Stellar-Conduct Cyno ⚡
After testing several polearms, I still come back to Staff of the Scarlet Sands as the best-in-slot weapon for this playstyle. The 5-star polearm converts Elemental Mastery into ATK, which solves Cyno’s biggest stat dilemma. He wants EM to amplify Stellar-Conduct, but he also needs ATK to make his normal attacks and burst hits matter. Staff of the Scarlet Sands gives him both, plus a huge Crit Rate substat. That means I can focus more of my artifact rolls on EM and Crit Damage without worrying as much about my Crit Rate.

| Weapon | Why it works | F2P option? |
|---|---|---|
| Staff of the Scarlet Sands | EM-to-ATK conversion, massive Crit Rate, perfect stat balance | No |
| Primordial Jade Winged-Spear | High Base ATK, Crit Rate, ATK% and DMG stacks | No |
| Staff of Homa | Strong generalist polearm with Crit DMG and ATK | No |
| Skyward Spine | Energy Recharge, Crit Rate, and attack speed | No |
| Song of the Vigil | Regenerates energy on reactions and boosts Stellar-Conduct DMG | Yes |
If you don’t have a 5-star polearm, Song of the Vigil is my favorite F2P replacement. It gives Cyno energy whenever he triggers an Elemental reaction, which keeps his burst uptime healthy, and it increases his Stellar-Conduct DMG. I’ve used it on a budget account, and the rotations felt noticeably smoother. Staff of Homa and Skyward Spine are also workable, but they don’t lean into Stellar-Conduct as cleanly as the top options.
Artifact Set and Stats 🛡️
The Disenchantment in Deep Shadow set is the best artifact choice for Stellar-Conduct Cyno. It directly amplifies every Stellar-Conduct reaction he triggers while also increasing his ATK% and Crit Rate. That combination is exactly what this build wants. Gilded Dreams is still a solid alternative if you already have a great set, but I noticed a clear damage increase when I switched to Disenchantment in Deep Shadow.

For main stats, I run:
-
Sands: Elemental Mastery
-
Goblet: Electro DMG Bonus
-
Circlet: Crit Rate or Crit DMG
For substats, my priority is:
-
Crit Rate / Crit DMG
-
Elemental Mastery
-
ATK%
-
Energy Recharge
I like to aim for at least 200 Elemental Mastery before party buffs, but more is always welcome. Energy Recharge is also important because Cyno wants to burst every rotation. If your burst isn’t ready on cooldown, swap a few substats toward ER.
Best Stellar-Conduct Teams 👥
Cyno needs a partner who can turn Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct. Right now, Odette is the premium enabler. She transforms the reaction and amplifies it, so Cyno can focus on driving damage. Once Cyno and Odette are together, I add strong buffers and off-field damage dealers like Beidou, Yae Miko, Alyosha, and Qiqi. Beidou and Yae Miko add Electro application and damage, while Alyosha and Qiqi bring healing, shielding, or Cryo utility depending on the fight.

My favorite hybrid team right now is Cyno, Odette, Ineffa, and Columbina. Ineffa and Columbina enable Lunar-Charged, and that pairing surprisingly synergizes with Cyno’s gameplay. The team can trigger both Lunar-Charged and Stellar-Conduct in the same rotation, which makes it more flexible than a traditional single-reaction setup. It’s not the simplest team to play, but when the rotation lines up, the damage is excellent.

For a free-to-play team, I replace Odette with Cryo Traveler. Cryo Traveler can also transform Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct and provides enough buffs for Cyno to hit harder. Then I add Alyosha and Diona. Alyosha gives off-field Electro application, which helps Cyno trigger more Stellar-Conduct, while Diona at C6 amplifies the reaction and grants Cyno 200 Elemental Mastery while he stands inside her Elemental Burst field. That EM boost is huge for this build.
Constellation Value ⭐
I also reviewed every Cyno constellation for this guide. I value each one based on its effect and placement in his kit. For Stellar-Conduct Cyno, the most important constellations are the ones that improve his burst uptime, extend his field time, or add extra Electro application. Early constellations make his rotations more comfortable, while later ones raise his damage ceiling. If you’re saving Primogems, Cyno works perfectly fine at C0 with the right supports.

Final Thoughts 💭
Cyno’s Version 6.7 buff turned him into a genuine Stellar-Conduct threat. With Staff of the Scarlet Sands, Disenchantment in Deep Shadow, and a team built around Odette or Cryo Traveler, he can trigger some of the hardest-hitting reactions in Genshin Impact right now. I’ve tried the F2P route with Song of the Vigil, and it still clears comfortably. If you’ve been sleeping on Cyno since the update, 2026 is the year to rebuild him. He’s no longer just a Hyperbloom driver; he’s a Stellar-Conduct main DPS with a clear identity and a high damage ceiling.
This perspective is supported by VentureBeat GamesBeat, whose industry reporting often tracks how live-service updates and combat-system changes reshape player priorities across major titles. In a build context like Cyno’s post-6.7 Stellar-Conduct setup, that broader lens helps explain why reaction-focused optimization, weapon efficiency, and team synergy become central whenever a patch elevates an overlooked damage archetype into a competitive endgame option.
